Mort finally made Level 10 of the Ghost Hunting profession! But it’s still talking about “experience remaining until next promotion.” Are there more than 10 levels to the professions? Because I just don’t know if I have it in me.
Mort looks as bored about catching that spirit as I feel.
In other news, we got a robot! Mort finally had enough Lifetime Happiness points to exchange for a SimBot. The game named her Carissa, and sent her over by cab.
She’s… exactly like a person Sim, except she makes funny noises and looks different. Kind of like the playable ghosts except… more metallic.
Hate to sound jaded, but color me unenthused.

It WAS a really short post. I was tired, and overheated, and had eaten a crappy dinner, so I played for like half an hour and then called it quits. Not my best day.
I think you only get to name the robots that you make at the bench. If you buy them with happy points, the game names them for you. :-/
Has Mort been able to talk the Spirits into going to the SimBeyond (or whatever it’s called) on their own, or does he just blast them with his ghost zapper thingie?
Henry looks like he’ll make a good mommy. (or is Mort the mommy?) When you have a same sex Sim couple, who gets called “Mother”, and who gets called “Father”, or are they both called “Father”?? Or does it say “Parent”??
My Sim that did the same sex relationship thing got erased when Sims Ambitions deleted some of my saved games from the Saves folder awhile back, and I havent gotten around to finishing playing that game from my backups yet. (I was playing the epically long lifespan for that one and am taking a break before I attempt playing the backups) I was going to have her and her girlfriend adopt a couple of kids and have them all have the Flirty and Easily Impressed traits. (too many people in the household for them to get married and adopt kids yet) I wanted to see how badly they’d get into trouble when they start flirting with all the other sims they encounter.
