I spent most of yesterday’s budgeted Sims time screwing around with the new Create A Pattern tool. First I made a big ugly mish-mash.
This is a screenshot of the Paranormal Memento, combined with a leopard spot pattern, a rubber duckie, and a skull and crossbones.
Then I created this pattern using a funny picture of my cat.
Awesome, right?!
Then I bought them a new car and gave it a marbled pattern. You know; to make it classier.
And I finished up by taking Mimsical’s suggestion and adding some plants along the back wall of the house.
Oh, and then I switched back into gameplay mode and Rusty grew up into a little boy!
OKAY THAT’S COOL WHATEVER NOW WHAT ELSE CAN I USE TO MAKE THEM SOME WALLPAPER?
I like the giant duck on the shirt. Maybe I’ll try it and put Grim Reaper on a shirt if that’s possible.
I had a mass extinction tonight of sims. They were dying all over the game, not just my sims.
First the Simbot went, then my sims were at the park, and there were two deaths there. Then I lost the elder female sim. (had just saved the game, and just as it was coming out of Save mode, boom…she dies.)
Then, one of my sims was fighting a fire while at their firefighter job, and I guess the homeowner died of old age (or heart failure brought on by the stress of their bed catching fire) DURING the height of the fire.
Seems like a ton of sims just kicked the bucket tonight, dropping like flies flying thru a cloud of Raid.
I now have a ghost Simbot. (that’s annoying. Everyone stops what they’re doing when they see “a Simbot!”. argh!) He and most of the other ghosts are in someone’s inventory. They were ticking me off. My coward sim kept fainting every time she turned around. She couldnt get anything done.
For some reason, one of the sim ghosts (before I banished them to an inventory) kept standing over the simbot that’s still alive. Crying. I dont know why. He’s lived longer than the other simbot who was younger than him. The younger simbot was the first death of the night.
yay! I hadn’t realised there was now a create-a-pattern tool! I’m going to download it now
